ACTIVITIES OF THE YEAR 2023-24

Taekwondo

Laksh Simha A Urs of Class IV secured silver medal and a certificate of merit in Kyorgi -1st south zone Taekwondo Championship organized by RWF Taekwondo Academy.

Skating Champions

1. Spoorthi. S. Gururaj of Class V got 3rd place in skating , in the State Ranking Championship -2023, held at multiple locations across the state. It was organised by the Karnataka Roller Skating Association (KRSA). She has also received a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- for the overall ranking, with one Silver and two Bronze medals.

2. Daksh K of Class I, participated in inter-school skating competition 2024 and secured Third place in Tenacity boys, organized by SKEI Smt. Kamala Bai Education Institution Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.

Badminton Tournament

Sihi R of Class III has been declared as the winner in under-9 Girls singles event of ARIES sports Badminton Tournament.

World Ramayana Championship

The World Ramayana Championship was conducted by Ayodhya Foundation, which was an online quiz, on 7th January 2024. Laksh Simha A Urs of Class IV scored 85% and received the certificate of appreciation.

Geeta Govinda Samskrita

Sharvari Bhat.V of Class 3, secured First Place in Bhagavad Gita Sholka Chanting on Chapter 17 , conducted by Geeta Govinda Samskrita Sangha, Bengaluru.

SPORTS

Rota Smash - Badminton

Tejas N., Santhosh and Virat C. Gowda of Class 7 are declared as Winners on Rota– Smash badminton tournament, conducted by Rotaract club of Bengaluru, Nagasandra.

Chess Tournament

Bhuvi M. J. and Santhosh of Class 7 have participated in Chess Tournament and scored 4/5 points and 5/5 points respectively . They secured First place. It was organised by Navya Cultural and sports academy, Doddaballpur.

Kabaddi Tournament

Ms. Kumari , Physical Education Instructor, secured first place in the South India Invitational Kabaddi Tournament for women, conducted by Shree Matha Sports Club. She was the captain of the team and they received a cash prize of Rs. 75,000/-.

SIP Abacus

Shreyas N.M of Class VI, has achieved significant milestone in the SIP Abacus program by completing the grand modules. He was awarded a Trophy and a Certificate.

Inter PPEC Games Meet 2023-24

Inter PPEC Games Meet 2023-24 was held at WIDIA Poornaprajna on 10/11/2023 and 11/11/2023.

Bhuvi M.J (VII) - 1st Place __________________________________________________ Selected for State Level Chess
Chandan U. of Class V. has secured Yellow grade in the World Taekwondo promotion test, organised by the Karnataka Taekwondo – RWF Taekwondo Centre, Bengaluru.
Amogha Raj Bellary of Class I , participated in the 40th Open State Taekwondo Championship 2023, Under 8—Sub Junior category and has won Bronze medal which was organised by Karnataka Taekwondo – RWF Taekwondo Centre, Bengaluru.
In the VESTARS CUP G4 ,1st National Open Taekwondo Championship, POOMSAE, KYORUGI & DEMO, held on 26th and 27th August 2023 at Decathlon, Binnypet, Bengaluru, Pranav Rao of Class IV bagged the following medals in Sub-Junior category: Gold medal in KYORUGI and Silver medal in POOMSAE.
In the 40th state Sub-Junior, Junior , Senior and 9th Cadet Taekwonda Championship 2023, Greeshma P. of Class VII has secured Gold Medal in Cadet Female Under 144 cm Height Kyorugi category. She also won Bronze medal in the Open State Taekwondo Championship 2023, Under 12 — KYORUGI Category organised by Karnataka. Taekwondo , RWF Taekwondo Centre, Bengaluru.

Bharatanatyam Dance Competition

Nishita K of Class V , won First place in solo Junior Kathak and Nikitha of Class VI won First place in group dance and Second Place in Junior Bharatanatyam Style in “13th All India Dance Competition in Bengaluru, organisied by PESAC entertainment Pvt.. Ltd., in collaboration with Princess Dance studio, Bengaluru, on 16th & 17th September 2023 at Chandra Mouleshwar Temple, Hunasamarnhalli, Bengaluru.

Karnataka Natya Mayuri Rajya Prashasti.

Dr. U.R Ananthamurthy Rashtriya Kala Prathibhotsava Organisation conducted Bharthanatya Programme on 11.08.2023 at Ravindra Kalakshetra. Aditri Prithviraj, Likitha G., SriVidya N., Anupa N.M ., Abhigna Rao, Arushi K. Chandragiri, Navya Lalitha P. and Monisha H.M were the participants.

Nandana Kalaikkothai

A dance performance NANDANA KALAIKKOTHAI, a mass event was organized by Sangamam Global Academy jointly, with the Department of Tourism. They performed Ananda Thandavam at the Rock Beach – Puducherry. More than 2000 artists with pellet drums, performed. The following students participated – Likitha G., SriVidya N., Anupa N.M., Abhigna Rao, Arushi K Chandragiri, Poorvi V. Hiremath , Navya Lalitha P. and Monisha H.M.

SPORTS

Abhay C.S of Class III, is the winner in Badminton Carnival –Dare to win Under-9 category. He has won a trophy, medal and a certificate.

Deeksha A.H. has participated in sub-junior girls kyorugi under 22 kg weight category and has won Bronze medal in the Taekwonda championship held at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, National Games village, Bengaluru.

Sihi R of Class III, has been declared as Semi-Finalist in the under 11, Girls singles events of Namma Badminton –  White Peacock Badminton Tournament. She has received a trophy and a certificate

International Silver zone Olympiad

International Silver Zone Olympiad 2022-23 (Level II) :

Abhinavaraj A. B. of Class II has participated and won the first place in the Class, State and Zonal Olympiad ranking and obtained 100/100 marks in the second level of International Olympiad of English language. He received a Gold medal and a gift coupon worth Rs. 300/-

Chess and Badminton

Bhuvi M J and Santhosh of Class 7 secured 5th and 6th places respectively, in the under 12 category , in the 6th PCA Open and Age Category Rapid Chess tournament 2023, at Babu Jagajeevanarama Bhavana, Doddaballapura.

Santhosh of Class VII has been declared as the winner in U-13 boys singles events of Golden Fins Badminton tournament held at Ramamurthynagar.

International Silver Zone Olympiads 2022-23

Many Children from class I to VII participated in International Silver Zone Olympiad Online examinations for the year 2022-23. The Medal Winners are as follows.

Aprameya T, Yadava R Magadi of Class 2 and Pratham Bhat of Class 4 have secured a Gold medal and Gift Certificate worth Rs. 500/- in International Olympiad of English, Mathematics and Science respectively.

Kyorugi Teakwondo

Greeshma P of class VI has secured Gold in Kyorugi Teakwondo and Silver medal in Cadet girls U-37 and Dushyanth of class IV has secured Bronze – II medal in Kyorugi Teakwondo Championship conducted by SG Master Teakwondo Centre Bengaluru

Greeshma P of Class VI secured Gold Medal and a certificate in Matrix Abacus competition. She stood Fourth with 10.1 calculation ability/minute and 40.4 in Number Reading ability/minute.

Greeshma P of class VI and Dhruva Simha A Urs of Class VII have successfully completed the KUKKIWONS First Poom Taekwonda promotion Test and received Black belt.

In-House Badminton Tournament

Aadit Appachha of class I A has participated in the “In -House Badminton Tournament under Group 14 Category and secured silver medal and a certificate at the Smash box
Badminton Academy.

Inter PPEC Games Meet 2022-23

Inter PPEC Games Meet 2022-23 was held at Poornaprajna Sadashivanagar on 25/11/2022 and 26/11/2022. The Prize Winners of the Inter PPEC Games Meet are as follows:
Girls were the winners in Volleyball and Runners in Chess Boys were the Winners in Shuttle Badminton and Runner in chess.Tejas N of Class VI was declared as the Best Player in Shuttle Badminton

State Level Chess tournament

Bhuvi M.J of class VI and Parthik Jevoor of Class VII represented State Level Chess tournament on 24.11.2022 to 26.11.2022 at Karwar.

Greeshma P of Class VI has secured Gold Medal in Group 4 Kyorugi category Bronze medal in the Open state Sub. Junior Girls Under 32 Kg weight Taekwondo Championship – 2022 at Shree Kanteerava Stadium , Bengaluru.

World Record Dance

Siva Sakthi Academy and Vishnu Varakari Samsthan jointly organized an Event Vriksha Book of World Record in which 1000 artists performed “ Bho Shambho” Song for 11 minutes on 1st May 2022 at Sri Akilandeswari Sametha, Sri Jambugeshwara Temple, Thiruvanai Kovil, Trichy . Abhigna Rao of Class VI, Sahana H.K, Sneha Shivakumar, Dhatri R. and Thanishka S. Reddy of Class VII, participated in the event.

Silverzone Olympaid Examination 2021-22:

Abhay C.S., Abhinavaraj A.B. and Devansh Yarra of Class 1 presently in Class 2 received gift certificate worth Rs. 350/- and a Gold Medal of excellence in International Olympiad of English.

Yadava R. Magadi of Class 1 now in Class 2 received a gift certificate worth Rs. 350/- and a Gold Medal of excellence in International Olympiad of Mathematics.

They all have secured First Place in Class, State, Zonal and Olympiad levels.

Sports

Champions Chess Academy conducted Chess Tournament in which Bhuvi M. J. and Santosh of Class VI B won 1st and 4th place respectively. Both received a certificate and a trophy.
